FOODS YOU SHOULD EAT TO MANAGE TYPE 2 DIABETES

Healthy lifestyle choices can help you prevent type 2 diabetes. There are two types of diabetes, Type 1 which means your body does not produce any insulin and type 2 which means your body does not produce enough insulin or does not use the insulin properly. To control diabetes you need to plan a healthy diet plan. Here we list the foods that helps to manage Type 2 Diabetes.



Brown Rice : Healthy eating plays a major role in preventing and managing the type 2 diabetes mellitus. Choosing Brown rice over white rice may reduce the risk of type 2 DM. Selecting the right rice alone is not just enough to avoid disease, but its just an small preventive  measure. 

Nuts : Nuts help to reduce the hunger and provide healthy fats, fiber, magnesium. eating nuts may reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases(according to the study published in 2008 "journal of nutrition"). many people say consuming nuts increase the body fat and increase the weight, but that is no way right, according to the study, consuming nuts, which are in high calories in small portion sizes is best way.

Green Leafy Vegetables : A study found that women who eat more leafy vegetables along with fruits had a lower risk of developing type 2 DM. Eating the low calorie and low carbohydrate veggies such as spinach, kale, and collards. they will also help in the weight loss.

Fish : Fish high in omega-3-fatty acid are recommended the most but don't deep fry are bread the fish. studies suggest that eating fish reduces the cardio vascular risk , improve cholesterol levels and lower the risk of cardiac death.

Fat free milk and diary products : Studies suggests that men who consumed more diary products with low fat reduce the risk of type 2 DM . Dairy products may help "prevent Insulin Resistance", which leads to type type 2 DM. when select the dairy products that contain Vitamin D and Calcium.

Exercise : Loosing weight is the best way to prevent or manage the type 2 DM . both the healthy diet and exercise together are important in preventing and managing the type 2 DM.
   Regular exercise also "improve the way in which insulin works in the body to control glucose levels".

A Doctor said "When you're thinking about a healthful diet for yourself, if you're a parent this is something you're modelling for your children as well as whole family should adopt healthful habits.
