HOME MADE ASTRINGENTS FOR YOUR SKIN

Astringents is a substance that cause the contraction of body tissues,typically used to reduce from minor abrasions and stimulates the blood circulation.It reduces the oiliness and refine the pores and unevenly textured skin.Astringents are well known for its antibacterial and antiseptic properties which helps to get rid of bacteria from the pores.It has wide uses in medical and cosmetic field.Individuals who are suffering with skin problems such as oily skin,pores filled with bacteria those can try some home made astringents that will works better and less in cost compare to other astringent products in stores.



Few home made astringents which are safe to use:


Fruits & vegetables: They are some fruits and vegetables makes the best astringents,such as lemon,cucumber,peach,tomato,orange,strawberries,
.These are very effectively works  all helps in tightening the skin pores and makes your skin feel refreshing.Apply these fruits and vegetable juices on face and leave it for few minutes and wash it off.In case of peach and cucumber you can cut the slices and place it on your face.Add few drops of rose water into cucumber juice for a better result.


Aloe vera astringent: It has wide uses in the treatment of skin problems.Apply aloe vera gel on your face and leave it on for few minutes then rinse of with water.You can buy this gel at local stores or extract the gel from the leaves if you have an aloe vera plant at home.


Vinegar astringent: Mix a glass of warm water and add 2 tablespoons of vinegar and aspirin tablet to it.Apply this mixture on your face with cotton ball and leave it for few minutes and wash it off thoroughly.


Rose water astringent: Boil cup of water and add rose petals to it and then drain out the rose petals and use water as a astringents.It will gives your skin a refreshing feeling.


Camphor & alum astringent: Camphor with an aromatic smell and bitter taste and alum is a colorless astringent compound.Add pinch of alum to camphor and store it in a container.Use it as an astringent according to your skin type and requirements.
